On Saturday morning, 8 Texas Hill Country Club members met up in Comal County to drive through scenic backroads to Rebecca Creek Park in Spring Branch, Texas. It was a perfect day for a drive in a Mercedes-Benz through, the hill country and the winding roads. Rebecca Creek is a private gated park, and we literally had to the whole park to ourselves. We sat under the shade of the cypress trees that border Rebecca Creek. Everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch and talked about local and world events. Rhinda Miller and husband Ken drove in their 2005 CLK320 Cabriolet - a very nice looking Cardinal Red with Cream leather interior. Don and Louis drove up in Don's newly aquired 2017 SL450 - an excellent purchase Don made on this exceptional example of one of the last of the retractible hardtop convertibles. As of 2022, all new SL's will have 4 seats and a rag top. Kathy and Douglas drove their 2006 SL500 from Houston, Charlie and Martin in their 2009 SL550.
