The Minuteman Chapter launched into the summer season with a visit to the Newport Car Museum in Portsmouth, RI. The Newport Car Museum opened in mid-2017 in a former missile manufacturing facility situated on seven acres of land. The museum houses a private car collection that ranges from American muscle classics to sophisticated high-end European automobiles.
Some members in the greater Boston area met for a brief "cars and coffee” in the Wegman’s parking lot in Westwood, MA. From there they caravan down to meet up with other members.
The museum docents provided coffee and history about the venue. After the museum members enjoyed lunch at the Coddinton Brewery for casual conversation and a great meal. Everyone had a wonderful time!
